With over 25 years of international experience in technical industries, as an expert, senior manager, and often the only woman in the room, I understand moments of doubt, frustration, and invisible barriers.

Milestones of My Career
My journey began at a technical high-school for civil engineering, where we girls were a clear minority. Phrases like “You’ll never make it through the program—better go to the kitchen!” were not uncommon.
At the Mining-University of Leoben, I was one of only 7% of women who often had to stand up against traditional gender roles.
In international corporations, I experienced how challenging it can be to navigate power plays and cultural differences—and how rewarding it is to grow through these challenges.
The last years of my career in senior management at a large Austrian corporation showed me the importance of authenticity, resilience, and clear goals.
Today, as an independent entrepreneur, I face new challenges every day—but also incredible opportunities.
What helped me on my journey?
- The courage to be authentic—even in leadership roles.
- Curiosity, which pushed me to seize opportunities and jump into the deep end.
- Trust in my gut feeling and the ability to listen to it.
- Perseverance and the ability to stay focused on my goals.
